Join your berry special friend, Strawberry Shortcake, on her very first adventure! It's a berry merry birthday! Strawberry Shortcake is throwing a party for her little sister Apple Dumpling's first birthday. After making a list of the supplies they'll need, Strawberry Shortcake, Apple Dumpling, their cantankerous cat Custard, and their overly enthusiastic puppy Cupcake consult the map and head out into Strawberry land to find everything she needs for the perfect celebration, like juice, cake, and party hats. Their search takes them to some fun and fanciful places, like Cookie Corners, home of the amazing cookie-making machine. The adventuresome group meets lots of delightful new friends like Gingersnap, Orange Blossom, Angel Cake, and Huckleberry Pie, and learns to value friendship and diversity along the way.
