The legendary Vash the Stampede is a notorious ace gunman with a $$60,000,000,000 bounty on his head and for something he hasn't done. Wherever this man goes trouble always follows, entire towns evacuate at the rumor of his arrival. People say he's killed thousands but there has never been a record of Vash ever killing one person. Though Vash may act stupid at times he can be very serious and there is a hidden depth to this character along with a hidden past. However, in truth, Vash is a goofy buffoon who can step out of the way of bullets but who never actually shoots anyone, in fact on several occasions he pointedly chooses not to.
